Bridgetown Veterinary Emergency and Specialty offers Outpatient Imaging at the request of a veterinarian.
Imaging services include:
The Outpatient Ultrasound service is meant to provide imaging for stable patients but should the pet need emergency care during their visit, they will be directed to our Emergency Department, located in the same building.
All patients will be sedated to facilitate diagnostic imaging. Prior to sedation, a brief physical examination will be performed by a clinician. Ultrasound-guided aspirates will not be routinely performed. However, if aspirates are recommended, this will be discussed with a client and facilitated via our emergency or specialty services. Outside of these situations, the imaging findings will not be discussed with your client during the appointment. A final report will be emailed to you within 48 hours of the examination.
