What is a Veterinary Neurologist?

Some pets experience injury to the nervous system or deterioration as they age. The results of a neurological disorder can be alarming to pet owners, thankfully some of these disorders can be treated. Each pet and family are unique, which encourages our neurologists to take an individualized approach to each patient. They will thoroughly discuss medical and surgical therapeutic options and work with you to determine the best option for you and your pet.

What can you expect during a neurology appointment?

Neurologists at BVER have access to specialized diagnostic and surgical equipment, the latest and safest anesthesia monitoring equipment and will collaborate with our Emergency & Critical Care Department to provide optimal care for your pet. Our team is available by appointment and on-call for emergencies, alongside our highly trained and dedicated staff to make sure your pet receives optimal care any time of the day.
